Shareem Annan

Mrs. Annan joined Elevance Health in 2022 and currently leads the Director, Belonging & Inclusive Experiences (BIE). In this role she has responsibilities for overseeing BIE programs and initiatives across the organization. Her team is accountable for driving a culture of inclusion and belonging.

 

Mrs. Annan is a 2000 graduate of Howard University. She earned her MSA in Human Resources from Central Michigan University in 2005. She became a Certified Cultural Diversity & Inclusion Professional (CDP) through the Diversity Executive Leadership Academy in 2021. Mrs. Annan is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and serves as Programs Chair for her chapter. She has been appointed to several boards to include the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Workforce and Education Executive Committee. She is married to her husband Kofi; an Army Veteran and graduate of Tennessee State University and they have two children Omari who is a graduate of Virginia State University and Jaden who is a Junior at Virginia State University.
